It can be used to build simple or sophisticated CNC plasma or plasma router tables using steppers or servos as long as the drivers can take discreet step and direction logic signals. THIS IS YOUR BEST CHOICE for a running Plasma or Plasma/router table to continue to use the power supply, motors and mechanics. Not all motor drivers are compatible so check your driver specs first. If your current controller is self contained with proprietary software this WILL NOT plugin and run!

The MP3700-DTHC5 is the perfect solution for the retrofit of older controls , confusing low feature import controls or to front end your own stick built plasma or multi-use table. you won’t find another controller that is wired and ready to go with a fraction of the features at anything close to the same price. This is not a single card unit that only works with plasma . Not only is it a full featured motion control and digital Torch height contro, l but it uses an industrial Operating System (LINUX) that is Open Source and not bloated with embedded “features” you can’t turn off. Every MP37700 SHIPS WITH A PRELOADED MINI PC , Setup and read y to customize to your machine /table and get running fast.
Scared of LINUX? Don’t be. It is 100% GUI (even our setup and configuration tools) and it talks to any Windows network, or uses any memory stick . Transfer files and use compatible applications on either platform SheetCAM (unlicensed) comes preloaded on the PC along with drawing and CAD programs. if you have a valid license for TNG on Windows it will work on the LINUX PC as well. Upgrading your Current Import (Chinese) Control
Lets face it . A lot of cheaper tables (and a couple that are not so cheap) opt for the cheap import controls and THCs from China . Often the mechanics and even the motor sand power section are just fine but those controls and software with confusing User Interfaces, weird Terms and just plan poor engineering can make operation of those machines less than pleasant.
There are a lot of import tables from China and most use the “Starfire” type LCD panel or something similar and typically a “stand alone” THC with a panel full of knobs or screen settings and no integration into the actual toolpath . Performance is limited but price “bary low”.

In most cases the table is mechanically sound and they use good quality power, drivers and motors and most have a good Z axis with collision detection and touch off options on the Z. Its the Software, Motion Control and THC that are junk.
So what can you do? You have a lot invested in the table already between the base purchase and the freight in. How about we replace the FRONT END motion controls and the software and turn it into a user friendly, highly flexible and feature rich system and do it all for a fraction of the cost of a whole new table!
