Note: This is not a general purpose CNC control computer. Uses Special version of LINUX . Specific drivers for CandCNC hardware built for use with Linux and CommandCNC. This will NOT update an older MACH based system nor will it work to control other brands or types of hardware.
The CommandCNC Mini PC is equipped Quad Processor and 4G of RAM with a 128 GB solid state drive for fast, reliable operation. It features four USB 3.0 port. The PC also has an HDMI port for monitor connectivity. There is one Ethernet port. It will be for table operation.
The size is: (L) 4.25″ x (W) 4″ x (H) 1.60″
It is small enough to mount on the back of your monitor or you can hang it underneath your computer cart with the included hanging bracket.
It will have Inkscape, SheetCam(demo)* , and CommandCNC. If you purchase a Linux system or a SheetCam License, it will be loaded onto the PC.
This PC will be shipped with a backup master installer USB stick as well.
*NOTE: The SheetCAM loaded will be the LINUX version (REV7) It is unlicensed.REV8 SheetCAM only works on Wincows and has a CAD module and Auto Nesting(and much higher price) . It will not run on a LINUX based PC. IREV 7 is no longer available for download from the ShhetCAM software site . IF you currently have SheetCAM REV 7.X.X or an older SheetCAM license, you can transfer it to the new PC and continue to operate. If you need to purchase a new license for the Linux REV7 version software you can do that from CandCNC but only as a OPTION on the Mini PC at the time of purchase or on new control systems. We no longer sell SheetCAM Licenses outside of bundles or as Options on new controllers. WE do not sell or support the new REV 8 release of SheetCAM.
