The Dual Port Controller is a Combo Package of our famous Mini-IO with the new Port 2 plug-in all ready to mount in the provided instrument case. The panels are drilled and routed and the scratch-resistant decals applied. Everything you need to interface your PC to 4 axis of motor drivers (Xylotex, Gecko, HobbyCNC,etc) and give you isolated inputs for your swtiches and a second port of interface for using the mult-function MPG-101B pendant. As soon as you pick the pendantand realize you have precise control of jogging and the ability to do 20 additional functions all from the pendant, you will be hooked. We use the amazing power of MACH3 to use port inputs to reach inside the software and activate functions. You can setup your pendant with common things like the Jog controls and zeroing each axis, or decide which functions you need for your shop. Comes with custom MACH3 Plug-in. Perfect for the table-top mill or router as well as the larger floor machines.
With the SUPER COMBO you get it all. The unit comes fully tested and all you have to do is mount the cards to the special plate, plug in the cables, snap together the case and you are ready to run. Your MPG-101 comes assembled and tested and with it's own 25 ft shielded cable. One of the hallmarks of the CandCNC products are the designs that make wiring and using a CNC machine easier. The Dual Port Controller is no exception. We designed a remote Mini Table I/O (Remote Relay Card) card that plugs into the back of the Controller via a DB9 cable and gives you a table mounted breakout card with 5 isolated inputs (including a safety E-stop connection) for Homes or Home/Limit combinations and two high current relays (30A @ 275VAC & 10A at 125VAC) for controlling your spindle motor or router.
The popular Step & Direction monitor card (option for the Mini-IO is included and the front panel is drilled so you can constantly monitor the signals going to your motor drives.
AMAZING! There is room and mounting holes in the case for the popular Xylotex 3 or 4 axis stepper controller. Order the fan kit to mount in the unit and you have a compact controller. Just supply the Xylotex with an external 24 to 30 Volts DC and connect your motors (connectors not provided for the motors)
Use your handwheel to manually cut with an axis. One button is assigned to toggle between each axis and the LED's show you which one is active. 11 buttons: 19 functions that YOU can define. We send a software program with most common ones and a list of all function codes. Use our default setup or one you design.
