The MP101B is a totally new design of a hand controller.  We took all of the lessons from our early MPG-01 5 Function and our extremely popular MPG-02A 20 Function pendant (for our MINI-IO series), and used them to design and build a smaller, lighter pendant that is built for the way things are done in the shop.  You can easy jog X and Y at the same time to any position on the table and then with one button push, drop to slow mode and then to single step.  In Single Step, each bump of the stick moves one step or holding the stick over bumps one or both axis two steps per second.....perfect for touching off.  Another button swtiches you from XY to ZA and lets you perform the same moves on those axis. The 16 keys are positive click tactile swtiches and let you perform different functions based on if you are running code (Run Mode), or in Setup mode (positioning the machine and loading material).  The MPG101B keypad configures itself based on what the machine is doing.  While running you can increase or decrease the Feedrate, and Feedhold or Stop the running code.  If you have a Spindle Speed control then the increase and decrease speed functions are right at your finger tips!  The keyboard functions auto-shift so that when not running code you can Jog, Reference any axis, Zero any axis, or use our exclusive custom function to send the machine to a "Load Material" position (determined by custom DRO's in MACH).  Some functions like the Spindle ON/Off (torch on/off in plasma) and Reset remain the same in both run and setup mode.  You can actually start the spindle, step the Z down to a depth, switch jog axis to XY and Hand cut a toolpath.  Spindle activate requires Spindle + Axis Pair be hit together to work. The THC version includes the ability to turn on/off the THC function in MACH, Turn on/off the Anti-dive, and to adjust the tip volts to the MP1000 all while the torch is cutting.
